The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the processing of trade lifecycle activities which include but is not limitted to Trade Validation, Confirmation and Affirmation, Regulatory Transaction Reporting, Pre-matching, Settlement, Reconciliations and Sales support.
- Manage the Trade lifecycle activities
- Keep Operations procedures (DIMs) updated as per HSBC Global Principles and local regulations, ensure that all processes are properly implemented and control design is effective
- Implement actions for quality improvement and service excellence culture in Operations;
- Ensure smooth settlements and reconciliation breaks (Nostro & Custody) under control;
- Register FI & Derivatives transactions into internal and external systems;
- Control oriented and Project management skills
- Client services and Sales Support
- Support the FRP process
Requirements
Strong knowledge in the FI & Derivatives products traded in the local market including regulatory regulation.
Accounting.
Nostro accounts controls and Domestic settlements.
Register of FI & Derivatives transactions into internal and external systems.
Knowledge in Futures contracts traded at the Exchange (B3) and OTC Derivatives are desirable.
Control oriented and Project management skills.
Client services support.
Knowledge in advanced excel is desirable.
Problem solving skills.
Up to 10 years of experience in the FI & Derivatives transactions;
Bachelor´s degree;
Fluent in English and Portuguese.
