Release Manager

This position will be part of our Engineering department based in our Sao Paolo office in Brazil. The role will maximize the engagement metrics of Netcracker’s digital properties, as well as, the software release configurations according to Customers requirements for projects around the world. Role and responsibilities are: - Point of Contact for Internal and External Release management activity, alignment of the installation plan with the customer and internal teams (Configuration / Environment support / Deployment Management / Solution delivery / Customer support). - Execute tracking and alignment of software components included on solution - track component versions, branches and merges - approve merges to the branch, incl. merge conflict’s resolution - prepare release documentation: Release Notes, Proof of tests, installation notes (validate documentation prepared by other teams before sharing it to customer) - CCI\NTPS configurations - Ticket management - Release notes preparation - Tracking CMDB updates with DevOps team - Automatizations of some manual operations - Change management (CRs & HF) - Coordination of new scope and fix issue plans with customer needs - managing the lifecycle of a change - hosting Change Approval Board (CAB) meeting (internal and external) - work with ITMSO on SIS plan build and validation - prepare Production and non-Production environment’s update: communication plan, installation plan, roll-back plan and others as required - run Production and non-Production environment’s update: HF/DF/Maintenance patch deployment - manage deployment issues and troubleshooting - Human Resource planning - Distribution of activities related to all RM tasks both within the project and the approval of the product on the installation **What skills and experience will you need for this role?** - Previous experience within Release Management, Change Management or Technical Lead role - Experience with distributed Cloud deployments, CI/CD and CMDB - Strong knowledge on tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Jira, Jenkins, Git, Remedy and Confluence. - Strong IT experience with knowledge of the general processes of developing and branching strategy (commit, merge, resolve conflicts, etc). - Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration and development (CI/CD) tools - Successful experience managing SW development life cycle projects - Excellent communication and team building abilities; - Fluent English - strong verbal/writing skills - Have ownership of tasks, be responsible, careful and diligent. - Availability to work from office in hybrid mode from our Sao Paulo office **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field **_"All of our job opportunities in Brazil are open to people with disabilities (PWDs)"/ “Todas as nossas oportunidades de vagas no Brasil são abertas a pessoas com deficiência (PCDs)"_** **Who is Netcracker Technology?** We are a forward-looking software company, offering mission-critical solutions to service providers around the globe.
