**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

As a crucial part of SAP's total solution delivery strategy, SAP Professional Services focuses on the overall success of customers' SAP solutions. One essential element in SAP's continued success is the services portfolio offered by SAP Professional Services and its certified partners, whereby consulting, implementation, and optimization services are delivered throughout the entire solution life cycle.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Master's degree, preferably in finance, commerce, engineering, information technologies, MBA or equivalent training and job experience
- PMP or PgMP certification and /or other industry and project management certifications. Expert level knowledge of SAP methodologies.
- Global cultural awareness and respect. Preferred to have hands-on management experience in a multi-national environment.
- Organizational savvyness: appropriately aggressive, yet cool and respectful, professional presence
- Ability to translate generalized business goals and objectives into concrete program strategy and tactical plans.
- Proactive attitude in managing stakeholder satisfaction to position and secure customer success.
- Results driven: confident, thrives on hard work and consistent challenge, and is quick on her/his feet. She/he will be an active partner with other SAP colleagues in formulating opportunity and delivery strategies
- Team oriented: able to build strong relationships at every level of the organization and is a strong motivator who knows how to influence and to get others to deliver consistently their best work
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills - Business English and Spanish
- Strong negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills. Ability to articulate and present to C-Level

**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**

Build credibility / trust with assigned customers during the deal execution phase. Assists the SAP software sales and services teams in closing of deals by providing oversight on implementation planning & estimating, and coordinating multiple SAP LOBs and partners as required.

The Delivery Executive is responsible for ensuring that effective Program Governance is established for each account and is the primary point person from delivery aligned to the customer executives throughout the services lifecycle, from sales support through implementation and post-go-live. In addition to delivery support, the DE is responsible for positioning additional SAP Services in support of the success of the customer.

Builds credibility / trust with customers in solution support and solution implementation phase, continually reinforce the value of SAP solutions and services by establishing proactive relationships that provide the foundation for future. This includes creating long term value roadmap and plans with customer to achieve customer business objectives.

Work with Customer Stakeholders, Partners and Senior SAP Management to effectively manage and lead large, complex and risk programs/projects to ensure successful completion and significant impact on customer business KPI. This includes assessing and executing on strategic projects, building consensus among stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project tactics with corporate strategy and communicating project goals at a strategic level as well as actively identifying and developing business opportunities.

During implementations, manage overall services relationship, including sponsor, steering committee and program office, between customer, partner and SAP to ensure that projects / programs are delivered on-time, within budget and with the highest levels of customer satisfaction through billable consulting. Manage expectations on the development of solid program plans, with milestones and clear deliverables (in IT and business terms), and furthermore, proper program governance is in place to enable quick execution on the plans, handling risks, issues and objections.

In some cases (Very Large Enterprise Customers) the tasks might include the overall responsibility to globally manage all SAP delivery, starting with the development of long-term value realization plans that jointly define the portfolio of projects necessary to successfully support the transformation of the customer’s business.

Be part of SAP’s global or regional strategic initiatives that deliver improvements in the organization's professional capability to manage portfolios, programs, and projects. Support Program Management Practice development, methodology development, creation of intellectual capital, and perform coaching and mentoring. This includes effective development and deployment of project management policies, procedures, quality standards, and methodologies. Oversee and promote enterprise knowledge management.
