It’s an exciting time to be part of IFF, we are looking for our next Consumer Insights Manager to become part of our industry-leading team in Brazil.

IFF Brazil is looking for a Consumer Insights (CI) Associate based in Tambore, Sao Paulo Brazil.

As CI Associate you will be responsible to plan, coordinate, execute and deliver initiatives for local and regional accounts for the Fabric and Home Care categories

You will lead, guide and partner with the creative and commercial teams in CI-related activities, present results and recommendations nd provide consumer insight expertise, thanks to your previous expertise and your leadership skills.

The scope for position is Local and Regional accounts + Global projects that require support in Brazil

**Responsibilities**
- Define consumer research for local Fabric and Home Care initiatives, aligning with interfunctional teams.
- Responsible to design consumer test; plan and coordinate fieldwork; perform data management & data analysis to provide conclusions to the learning needs; build and share presentations containing insights and learnings.
- Use written and oral communication skills to present results, insights and recommendations in an impactful manner to internal and external customers.
- Generate outputs and recommendations for creative design next steps, define areas for creation improvements, identify need gaps or unmet needs to define customer opportunities / ad hoc value propositions (focused on account/country).
- Provide consumer, product and fragrance insights/learning in partnership with Evaluation, Perfumers, Sales, Marketing and Technical team. Revise and discuss research outputs to define fragrance development next steps, with peers without same working knowledge in CI.
- Manage CI budget for appointed projects/clients, ensuring maximization of investments within $ availability.
- To liaise closely with LATAM Sr. CI Group Manager to fully understand the business priorities that will lead to increased sales and improved win rate.
- To contribute to the strategic and tactical direction of consumer research programs globally to support the Global CI and Categories strategy.
- To be responsible for understanding the industry and the consumer dynamics in the relevant areas of responsibility (geographic, category).
- To be a source of expertise (proactive and reactive) internally and to customers in these areas.

**Job Requirements**:
**Required Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Statistics, Psychology or related Behavioural Sciences
- MUST HAVE 4-6 years of solid CI or Market Research related experience in relevant industries having led a country project from beginning to end (planning, coordinating, executing, building presentation and delivering it to internal/external customers)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills; critical and strategic thinking and passionate about understanding consumer’s behaviour
- Strong and effective communicator both verbally and written with an ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative research methods and have experience bridging the gap between quantitative and qualitative data streams
- Intermediate to advanced understanding of consumer tools and statistics and experience working with real-world data
- Desire to work with insights partners across various functional areas to build strong insights storytelling
- Experience in problem solving, fast-moving environments, dealing with change and a strong business sense
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Self-starter and self-learner
- Highly fluent in English: Written, verbal, listening, reading
- Preferred:
- You are user-centric and data-informed and able to connect different sources of information to drive powerful Insights
- You understand the role and importance of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, when to deploy them and are able to synthesize quantitative data with qualitative user research
- You have storytelling capabilities and the ability to influence people in different areas of the company
- You are able to recommend solutions that will contribute significantly to the business growth and possess strong commercial/strategic competences
