Job Description

Open Banking is a strategic initiative at Visa, which involves connecting individuals and businesses with banks, fintech players and other third parties - with the flexibility to use a variety of data and payment services. Our Open Banking teams are at the vanguard of transforming Visa’s business model to capture new payment flows.

The Director of Open Banking for Brazil at Visa will be a leader across strategy, planning and execution - with a deep passion for Open Banking and the benefits it can bring across the ecosystem of participants. Given that we are a relatively new product area and have a ‘start-up’ mentality, you will contribute to a wide breadth of areas which include product strategy, product road map & prioritization - as well as developing new partner and client relationships.

**Responsibilities**

As the Director of Open Banking for Brazil, you will drive all aspects of Visa’s entry into the domain from strategy through to execution - acting as the focal point bringing together related functions such as Sales, Strategy, Government Relations and Marketing. You will develop relationships with new partners and bring joint propositions to new and existing Visa clients.

Specific areas of accountability will include,
- Product Strategy & Planning,
- Provide input and leadership on regulatory and industry developments, close monitoring of market trends, emerging technologies, and industry players
- Provide expertise, insights and analysis to validate, enhance or re-direct aspects of the current Open Banking strategy
- Translate the Open Banking strategy into a roadmap for the enablement of Visa’s Open Banking capabilities within the local regulatory and industry context
- Develop a partnership strategy required to meet Visa Open Banking product and market goals
- Develop local business requirements in close collaboration with regional and global teams and other key functional areas including risk, strategy and government relations
- Execution & Go to Market,
- Initiate, develop and manage a select number of key partnerships
- Work with local, regional and global Visa teams, as well as external partners, to bring Visa’s relevant product and data assets into the Brazilian open banking ecosystem
- Drive joint product development efforts with partners by collaborating with various internal stakeholders, this involves being able to grasp functional and technical aspects of different solutions and combine them with partners’ solutions and capabilities to create market-first offerings
- Own and develop clear and concise product collaterals in order to document the products to inform and educate internal stakeholders and clients
- Provide guidance and expertise for product and client facing teams and lead discussions with prospective clients on all Open Banking related aspects with specific focus on Visa’s solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

The following are mandatory requirements,
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree ideally, degree in related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in conjunction with a less technical bachelor’s degree
- Minimum ten years’ experience in a related field with Product management experience including, product conception as well as launching, building, and growing multiple products
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Design, and Marketig
- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment with global and regional teams
- Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
