-Job description
The GCB4 is responsible for Managing the Financial Crime Risk Operations area responsible for activities which include but is not limitted to Name Screening Alert Analysis, Transaction Monitoring Case Management and Sanctions Screening support.
Manage and ensure that:
- Discount Name Screening alerts L1 and L2 are performed in a timely manner;
- Transaction Monitoring Case Management are performed according to Global Policies and Procedures meeting regulatory deadlines;
- Request for Information (RFI) are responded whenever needed;
- Escalate positive alerts and take the proper actions.
- Keep Operations procedures (DIMs) updated as per HSBC Global Principles and local regulations, ensuring that all processes are properly implemented and control design is rated as “effective”
- Support Quality Assurance and L2 reviews;
Prepare monthly metrics and indicators for pack committees.
Requirements
Knowledge in Financial Crime Risk Operations including Name Screening, Transaction Monitoring process and Sanctions Screening are desirable;
Compliance, Anti-money Laundering and Risk & Control mind set;
Good communication skills (verbal and written);
Knowledge in MS Office is desirable;
Bachelor´s degree;
Fluent in English and Portuguese.
