We deliver full transparency fostering high trust relationships and ultimately, safeguarding Bayer´s license to operate **YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO**: Professional consulting on event planning to maximize the impact and return on invest of the event. Responsible for key events with medium /high complexity, sensitive content and/ or important groups of attendees to guarantee the expected level of quality, ensure compliance and manage event spend responsibly Steer third-party event agency and suppliers during the whole process on single event level. **Major tasks and responsibilities**: - Build strong and trusted relationship with Event (Budget) Owner. Provide overall counselling at the early stage of event planning and challenge budget and ideas for planned activities to support measures on how to reach set business goals; - Work in close collaboration with business partners to guarantee event strategies implementation and guidelines; - Support and/ or bring innovation and new formats of events considering best practices from other events as well as market and industry trends; - Closely steer event activities of third-party event agency on single event level considering established processes, policies and procedures and safeguard compliance; - Support evaluation of third-party event agency planner’s on-site performance, provide feedback, solve problems and solicit feedback from Event Owner and provide recommendations based on feedback and observations; - Actively guide third-party event agency in the reconciliation of expenditures and budget management. If applicable, ensure to provide correct data for Transfer-of-value reporting. **ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?** - Degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing or an equivalent qualification; - Experience in event management in the life science industry, in the pharmaceutical business will be an advantage; - Very good knowledge of national and/or international Pharma Codes; - Professional experience in end-to-end service operations and in dealing with the complexities involved in the planning, negotiating and execution of events and related activities; - Ability to work in squads, with high level of collaboration and sense of teamwork; - Ability to manage staff of third-party event agency teams and to ensure that work objectives and quality and compliance standards are met; - Strong communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders and challenge status quo; - Reliability, assertiveness and confidence as well as creativity and open-minded; - Team and customer focused as well as cost and quality oriented; - Willingness to travel frequently; - Digital mindset, familiar with MS office and related software preferably with experience in using Cvent; - Good verbal and written communication skills in English and - Experience developing and delivering presentations. **Work relations** Internal: - Regional/ local EDM Head - Business stakeholders from divisions and enabling functions - Event & Disclosure Management Community - EDM Global Process Governance organization - Global Business Services External: - Framework contractors like third-party event agency - Hotel chains and individual hotels - Local Pharmaceutical Industry Association - External stakeholders like, e.g., HealthCare Professionals - and Organizations, farmers, journalists, Government officials etc. **What´s in it for you?** At Bayer we have established our benefits in three essential pillars, which integrate and converge to promote the life quality and well-being of our employees. - Health Care Plan - Dental Plan - Medicines Subsidy - GymPass - “Conte Comigo” - Psychological, chemical dependence, legal and financial assistance - “Bem Nascer” - Health monitoring during pregnancy, no coparticipation in the health care plan, workshop
