**Finance Manager**
Amgen is recruiting for a Regional Service Owner to play a key role in the execution of Amgen’s global Procure to Pay process (P2P) in the LATAM Region (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico). The LATAM Regional Service Owner is responsible for partnering with functional leadership and super users to understand requirements, support issue resolution, and drive improvements. This role will be the face of the Procure to Pay organization for LATAM end users and will be responsible for communications, escalations, and training. This individual will interact with key leadership and staff in all areas of the region, including internal and external suppliers. The LATAM Regional Service Owner will also be responsible for leading a team of regional staff to ensure consistent delivery of high quality, fully compliant service offerings to the business. This role will report to the Head of Global Procure to Pay and will be based in the LATAM Region.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for service delivery to internal and external customers and stakeholders across the P2P process for the LATAM region.
- Partner with functional leads and super users to understand requirements and priorities impacting the P2P process in the region
- Drive stakeholder satisfaction through identifying and implementing continuous improvement and value-add opportunities
- Manage issues and drive escalations as needed including proper resolution. Partner with the Procure to Pay operations team to develop interim and more permanent solutions, as needed.
- Lead projects to drive improvements across the P2P process. Engage right stakeholders to help drive successful delivery.
- Understand the change impacts to the region’s end users of all changes across Procure to Pay (Process & Technology) to develop and execute an effective change management plan
- Deliver all communications to the Region, including conducting regional update calls to end users and setting strategy for end user engagement
- Partner with other regional service delivery owners to deliver on global improvement projects
- Provide Metrics & Reporting analytics to regional finance teams to ensure tracking of service quality and staff performance markers are in range of expectations
- Ensure compliance to internal and external policies, regulations and laws within the Procure to Pay process
- Deliver support and training to the region on the global Procure to Pay services
- Managerial oversight and development of staff members
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in, business, or any other highly quantitative discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in Procure to Pay processes
- Advanced English
- Differential Spanish
- Experience in managing stakeholders through change
- Experience in preparing executive communication to include written and oral presentations
- Demonstrated experience in process and service management
- Excellent data-driven problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution
- Ability to influence at all levels with a customer facing mindset
- Ability to take initiative and work within an autonomous environment
- 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
