OSM Thome is currently seeking a Cook to join our team on board the Skandi Africa vessel in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for the crew on board the vessel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and prepare daily meals for the crew, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences
- Ensure that all meals are cooked and presented in a timely and hygienic manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the galley and food storage areas
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the galley
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Master or Chief Engineer

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cook on board a vessel
- Advanced English/ HUET and CAEBs certificates
- Valid STCW certification
- Knowledge of maritime culinary practices and dietary requirements
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
