Amazon is seeking a motivated Transportation Specialist to develop innovative solutions for our transportation network, encompassing first, middle, and last mile operations. In this role, you will be responsible for creating impactful reports and dashboards, diving deep into daily metrics to identify and execute on improvement opportunities, and developing comprehensive SOPs to streamline operations.
Key job responsibilities
- Generate and analyze in-depth reports to track transportation performance metrics across first, middle, and last mile operations
- Develop dynamic dashboards to provide real-time visibility into the entire transportation network
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand upstream and downstream process dependencies critical to successful program execution
- Identify optimization opportunities based on data-driven insights and partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
- Create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across all stages of the transportation network
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and SOPs to internal and external customers
- Continuously seek to improve processes and unblock bottlenecks through data analysis and SOP refinement
- Experience in transportation, supply chain, or a related field;
- Experience in report/dashboard development using tools like Power BI or Tableau;
- Background in logistics operations, e-commerce, or related industry;
- Passion for using data to drive business decisions;
- Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
