**Your Role and Responsibilities**:

- **
Business Development and Client Orientation**: Proactively enhance and expand relationships with cedants and brokers, identifying and implementing new business opportunities. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and co-create solutions, leveraging digital tools to address challenges and drive mutual success.
- ** Underwriting Expertise**: Assess and underwrite portfolio solutions for clients in Brazil, ensuring alignment with profitability targets, risk appetite, underwriting guidelines, and business strategies.
- ** Risk Management**: Develop and implement effective risk management and governance processes to ensure the business stability and informed decision-making, while aligning with business objectives.
- ** Portfolio Oversight**:Actively monitor and manage the book of business to ensure long-term profitability and alignment with company objectives.
- ** Team Contribution**: Actively engage with local (Client Management, Claims, and Treaty Underwriting) and regional (LatAm & Iberia) teams, leveraging agile methods to enhance workflows and foster a culture of collaboration and shared achievement.
- ** Knowledge Sharing**:Lead seminars and workshops for clients, sharing expertise and promoting knowledge exchange.
- ** Thought Leadership**:Drive thought leadership in reinsurance space, positioning Munich Re as a trusted partner in the region.

**Your Profile**:

- **
Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- ** Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of facultative and/or treaty underwriting experience.
- ** Skills**: High client orientation, strong negotiation and marketing skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- ** Industry Knowledge**: Comprehensive understanding of reinsurance; familiarity with the Brazilian market is essential.
- ** Technology Savvy**: Experience with digital solutions or underwriting platforms is advantageous.
- ** Agility & Innovation**:Familiarity with design thinking and agile methodologies is a plus.
- ** Flexibility**: High level of commitment, adaptability, and willingness to travel.
- ** Languages**: Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken); Spanish is an asset.
