As a Sourcing Specialist - Commodity Management will be responsible for sourcing of Raw Material, OFT commodities in Baker Hughes. In this role, you will develop commodity strategies, achieving deflation targets, managing supply risk and relationships with strategic suppliers related to these commodities.

As a **Sourcing Specialist - Commodity Management**, you will be responsible for:

- Buying-Procurement specialist responsible for Baker Hughes Brazil working around the 4 BH product companies.
- Supporting Baker Hughes indirect purchases under strategic sourcing activities and corporate items understanding stakeholders’ needs and communicating sourcing policy.
- Accountable to support stakeholders in all activities related to indirect procurement, leveraging the usage of appropriate contracts, tools and buying channels. Develops and executes specifics RFQs and contract/pricing implementation plans.
- Working closely with finance and compliance team to mitigate company’s compliance risk and resolving of payment issues.
- Development & execution of the strategic sourcing actions to drive cost saving projects by working closely with Strategic Sourcing Latam team.
- Support, maintain, and update the different sourcing tools, processes and systems.
- Engage with sourcing business teams and finance to ensure saving s and spends are correctly captured in the tool.
- Identify and implement best practices opportunities from sourcing perspective.
- Lead contract negotiations/key projects, engaging with key stakeholders (e.g. Commodity Leads, sourcing business teams, in some cases with key operational stakeholders).
- Help identify cost savings opportunities by participating work-outs with all product companies.
- Provide requesters guidance on proper SOWs as well as suggestions on how to prepare the SOW.
- Work with requestors to ensure they are following the preferred Commodity strategy which meets their requirements
- Work PO ques, requesting quotes, approving POs, working with requesters to obtain additional info
- Understands and gathers requirements and needs from the customer/requestor & transmits those requirements to the Commodity leader to build optimum customer-based solutions

To be successful in this role you will:

- Bachelor’s Degree plus experience in indirect procurement
- Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
- Unyielding compliance integrity and solid understanding of indirect Sourcing processes
- Excellent communication, negotiations, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships and support internal customers
- Ability to energize, develop and build report at all levels within an organization
- Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
- Sound knowledge of indirect systems such as Oracle, SAP, PAO, Ariba etc.
- Good team player and can work independently under pressure and solve problems proactively.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both oral and written.
- Sourcing skills and experience with hands on negotiation skills
