Cooper Standard is a leading global automotive supplier with a clear, profitable growth strategy and a strong commitment to investing in our employees, innovation and infrastructure. We are looking for a highly technical and collaborative individual for engaging with the business to enhance company standards and processes related to our ITSM and other business ticketing tool. This person will help develop and maintain the ITSM roadmap. This position will provide continual input and insight into the best practice methods to ensure that the company end user population is provided effective IT Infrastructure tools and systems.
**Responsibilities**:
Create and maintain the ITSM roadmap
Partner with the business in designing solutions that fit their needs
Automate business processes using ITSM and Powershell
Support Mergers acquisitions and other system modifications
Manage tasks and projects to implement the solution
Create and execute a strong communications plan with the business and IT
May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other that those specified in this description
**Education and Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred with five to eight years relevant business domain and industry experience
Experience in international manufacturing business environment, preferably in the automotive industry with large global systems implementations
Proven experience with support and development of Active Directory, PowerShell, Rest API’s and ITSM processes. Cherwell experience is preferred
Preferred background in IT operations support
Passion for process improvement and collaboration between geographically dispersed people, teams and functions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to make challenging decisions in a timely fashion across highly complex and multidimensional opportunities
Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary
