Analyst Sr. Finance Overview of Position: As a key member of the FP&A team, the Financial Analyst supports senior management by analyzing the financial performance of the business, assisting in quantitative analysis for all areas of the company, and handling ad hoc requests. The position involves meeting stringent deadlines, performing financial analysis, creating reports and presentations, and performing various special projects. This position reports to the Senior VP of Financial Planning and Analysis in Houston.. What you will do: - This position will be covering several companies of the group, working mostly on revenue analytics by project, profitability analysis, forecasting, reporting and Actual x Budget variance analysis and comments. - Post Revenue accruals to general ledger to ensure proper revenue recognition. - Work with Local sales teams for financial modelling, profitability analysis and general support. - Work together with project finance and accounting teams to ensure an accurate month-end closing. - Work with projects allocation for mínimalist analysis by customer sites. - Continuous focus on process improvement and controls already in place and/or implement additional improvements as needed - Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making. - Prepare financial analysis and models related to business development activities. - Handle various projects and work as needed for a rapidly growing company. - Drive and implement new process changes to foster a continuously improving business environment. - Analyzes and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance What we need from you: - Full Proficiency in English is mandatory as this position reports direclty to the headquarters in Houston - speaking, reading, writing and listening. Needs to be fluent. - Spanish is a plus. - University Degree - Accounting background. MBA is a plus. - 6+ years of corporate finance, multinational companies experience required. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
