**Overall Purpose of The Job**
- To assist the Finance Manager in exercising effective control over the finances of entities assigned to him/her and that the requested financial reports are prepared timely and accurately.

**Key Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Critically review entity reports submitted by Accountants and Accounting assistants, with particular emphasis on variance analysis.
- Ensure correct implementation of standardised procedures.
- Perform tests to ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated results.
- Monitor closely adherence to agreed budgets.
- Ensure that dividend policy is closely monitored and followed.
- Carry out site visits overseas when necessary.
- Assist, advice, and train subordinates as necessary.
- Liaise with external Auditors.
- Ensure that all deadlines set by the Divisions / Clients are respected.
- Assisting in the preparation of the company’s monthly management accounts.
- Ensure that the year-end Financial Statements are timely prepared.
- Ensuring that statutory requirements pertaining to Payroll, VAT and Tax are met.
- Undertake special projects as assigned, and assist the Finance Manager as necessary.

**Essential**
- Professional qualification (ACCA or ACA) with at least three years of experience in a relevant position. Or
- University Degree in Accounting or/and Part Qualified (ACCA or ACA) with at least five years of experience in a relevant position.
