The successful applicant will be part of an award-winning customer support team that leads the industry in customer satisfaction. This position serves as a liaison with AMR Service and Applications, Sales and Marketing to the Brazil Illumina Solution Center in order to help support the tools and resources that maximize sales growth and customer satisfaction.

This role requires excellent communication, time management, situational awareness, poise under pressure, decision making, and collaboration skills. You will be expected to build strong relationships across sub-regional Service and Applications, Regional Product Support, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service organizations.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Organizationally, this role will report to the Manager of Illumina Solution Center Operations, Brazil.
- Will have additional responsibilities associated with the AMR Illumina Solution Center team.
- Works closely with the US-based AMR Commercial Resources Empowerment (ACRE) team to support the Field Service and Applications departmental goals.
- Maintains the Illumina Solution Center schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences and teleconferences.
- Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock and placing and expediting orders for supplies, reagents and equipment.
- Verifies receipt of supplies, reagents and equipment.
- Ensures payment of vendors that support departmental activities.
- Provides analytical and reporting support, as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with the Office Software suite including Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
- Clear vision of and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Capacity to maintain composure in stressful situations.
- Acts as an ambassador for Illumina, including facilitating site visits by external parties.
- Ability to operate as an independent contributor and as a cooperative member of a team.
- Represents the company professionally, ethically, and morally at all times

Experience/Education:

- Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
