The Manager of the Illumina Solution Center (ISC), located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is responsible for all aspects of operations and instrumentation to ensure customer and employee success at the Illumina Solution Centers. This individual will be expected to develop and maintain high performing teams while ensuring process standardization and improvement. This individual will also be responsible for managing the delivery of Field Service Engineers (FSE) and Field Application Scientists (FAS) technical training and will work closely with Field Certified Trainers to ensure exceptional onboarding and technical training delivery. The successful applicant will be part of an award-winning customer support team that leads the industry in customer satisfaction. The Manager of the ISC-Brazil partners with internal and external customers to provide training, troubleshooting, and complaint resolution. This position serves as a liaison with Service and Applications, Sales and Marketing to the Illumina Solution Centers to develop tools and resources that maximize sales growth and customer satisfaction. This role requires exceptional coaching, communication, time management, situational awareness, poise under pressure, project management, and collaboration skills. You will be part of the AMR Commercial Resource Enablement (ACRE) team and will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships across sub-regional Service and Applications teams, Training,
Experience/Education:
- Typically requires a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology,
Genetics, or related field and 7+ years of experience; or a PhD and 5+
years of experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
