Senior Automation Technician

**Position Overview - Senior Automation Technician**
- **Location**: Rio de Janeiro
- ** Company**: Confidential
- ** Industry**: Offshore Engineering

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform services, including commissioning and technical support, aboard offshore units at shipyards and their final destinations or anchorages globally.
- Report activities locally and to the company's management team.
- Ensure compliance with Company's quality standards.

**Required Skills**:

- Technical diploma in Automation (CFT).
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally for service assignments.
- Advanced knowledge of signal levels (4-20mA, 0-10V, Hart, relay outputs, PT-100) and industrial network protocols.
- Advanced experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-300/S7-1500) and APIs (TIA Portal/WinCC/AB Studio).
- Expertise in working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Electric Starter Panels.
- Basic understanding of ATEX standards and electric starter panels.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and a basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

**Additional Skills**:

- Knowledge of electric motors, safety valves, functionality/calibration of load cells, and functionality/calibration of pressure and temperature sensors.
- Understanding of variable displacement piston pumps, fixed or variable hydraulic motors, winches, chain tensioning systems, and crane functionalities.
