**About the role**:
Responsibilities include the ownership of the routing policy within the IP + MPLS (OTI/ENGINE/IMN) backbones and providing the highest level of support for fault management issues.

Train operational teams (conveying expertise from vendors and engineering to operational teams).

Provide expert support for complex IP customer and backbone provisioning.

Study operational impact of new technologies.

Responsible for Postmortem Analysis.

Undertake rerouting and unroll rescue plans for complex cases and major outages management.

Participate to the definition of Routing rules & Network Topology.

Responsible for Network Optimization and assist with the implementation of peering policies and rules within Open Transit. Traffic Analysis.

Originate and maintain accurate troubleshooting guidelines for day-to-day network management and supervision, in an operational and customer-oriented way.

Conceive training plans for operational teams to integrate new technologies management.

Collaborate with internal teams using the DevOps model to develop automation tools to support the global business needs of the organization,

Be able to adapt to a dynamic environment and changing priorities.

Comfortable working independently to test theories and experiment to find the best solution to solve problems.

**About you**:
Telecommunications or/ Computer Science or/ Electronics experience. Vast knowledge on Networking is mandatory.

Experience in the field of software development with Python preferred, other programing languages such as Ansible or Perl would be beneficial.

Experience in major telecommunication related projects and IP network analysis.

Strong customer orientation and communication skills are required. Expertise on IP and Network troubleshooting skills on complex routing issues, and risk management.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate key messages and ideas clearly and effectively.
