**The Team**:
The Technical Inside Sales Representative becomes a specialist in business trends, the market situation, challenges, opportunities, and product/solution positioning in line with the region’s focus to drive tailored plans that help us achieve mutual pipeline acceleration and revenue growth. The Technical Inside Sales Representative works collaboratively on an ongoing basis towards the goal of long-term account retention and maximized selling opportunities.

**What your day will look like**:

- Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Genetec's software solutions, including ability to create small
- to medium-sized system designs with their associated BOMs
- Define product and functional requirements with the objective of preparing quotes based on customer requirements
- Assist in the development of tailored sales tools and related presentations as needed that helps account sales teams successfully position, sell, deploy and use Genetec solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
- Ability to cold call identified clients - either within the assigned territory’s accounts or mutual end-user customers
- Provide ad hoc consulting on Genetec’s products for cross and upsell opportunities
- Forecast, manage and report on ongoing sales and pipeline activity
- Working closely with suppliers and various departments for special pricing opportunities
- Communicating regularly with field reps
- Researching technical information on product requests
- Updating customer records and forecasting in the CRM for tracking

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-3 years’ experience in B2B sales for a technology company. Experience in the Electronic Security Industry in Latin America (Video Surveillance, Access Control, LPR, etc) is a plus
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
- Excellent Spanish and English communication skills
- Able to articulate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone and in writing
- Possesses strong troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a minimum of direction and supervision to be able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities
- Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships with core stakeholders
- Organized, detailed and process oriented
- Acumen for understanding of complex technology systems
