**Senior Import/Export Specialist**:
**Provides leadership and expertise in the area of Logistics related to mode MPC, air trade and compliance to LAA, you will be responsible to managing all imported and exported process to a Dow business working in a team group without direct report to you.**:**
Works in a team focused on Imports and Exports to/from all parts of the World. Covers all modes of Transport and is directly linked to our Customer Service Organization, Business Supply Chain as well as Site Logistics.**:
**Responsibilities / Duties**:

- **
Leads Imports and Exports operational issues and escalations within a business/region - Brazil.**:

- **
Manages the operational performance of external providers and drives ongoing service improvements (Ocean Carriers, Dray Carriers, Freight Forwarders).**:

- **
Develops and maintains the Regional Operating Discipline Management System, in alignment to global standards, work processes and procedures.**:

- **
- **
Generates capacity and equipment forecasts by facilitating discussions with supported businesses (Monthly ES&OP, etc.).**:

- **
Manages business and country specific issues.**:

- **
Leads work processes and systems enhancements; initiates MOC for regional changes where applicable.**:

- **
Utilizes Six Sigma to execute improvement projects.**:

- **
Participates in/Lead optimization studies and understanding the impact of business Client volume changes to the current process.**:

- **
Responsible for executing the RCI in case of serious or moderate incident with containers shipped.**:

- **
Review KPIs and metrics to delivery better results to customer experience.**:
**Experience**:

- **
Required education: University Degree, preferably in International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or other Sciences**:

- **
Required experience: 6-8 years of experience in a Supply Chain or International Trade Environment**:

- **
Fluent English language skills**:

- **
Advanced Spanish language skills**:
