Binance is looking for a Brazil PR Director - Public Affairs to join its local market being responsible for developing and driving our communications strategy in all of the country, including Public Affairs. This role will form part of the local leadership team, and will help craft strategies aimed at protecting the company’s reputation, while supporting the company’s voice on a range of topics including building brand awareness, supporting our global narrative, and addressing local needs when it comes to government relations, taxes and legal matters among others.

You must be comfortable and confident in working directly with journalists and other external stakeholders, as well as with internal leaders, and developing and delivering communications plans that support business and policy objectives.

This is a full-time remote position based in Brazil. The role will report to the regional PR Director for Latam.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop a long-term communications strategy that supports Binance Brazil’s business, brand and policy objectives
- Create, implement and manage strategic communication programs to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external constituencies
- Lead Public Affairs, corporate and brand communications initiatives in Brazil.
- Track emerging issues and assess their potential impact on Binance; map key stakeholders and build coalitions to drive Binance's corporate, brand and policy agenda
- Manage PR agencies to support strategic initiatives and develop communications materials, including story pitches, messaging guidelines, press releases, Q&As, presentations and speeches.
- Work with company spokespeople to prepare them for public speaking engagements, media interviews, and company meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent communications on the Brazil leadership team
- Must be comfortable with using data to shape stories and use it for various local news angles.

**Requierments**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 12+ years Communications experience, including either working in-house or in a PR agency
- Solid understanding of Brazil’s policy environment with a proven-track record working on communications initiatives involving corporate, policy and crisis communications
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-functional leads in a matrix organization
- Excellent writing skills both in Portuguese and English
- Passion for Binance and the mission of the company
- Experience working on projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal communications and interpersonal skills
- Maintaining enthusiasm and calm demeanour in stressful situations
- An international and inclusive mindset
- Conduct monthly and quarterly/half yearly reports
- Manage PR-related budgets
