We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Motorman (MTM) / Oiler to join our team on board the Skandi Africa vessel in Brazil. As a Motorman (MTM) / Oiler, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and operation of the vessel's machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the vessel's machinery and equipment
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of machinery
- Monitor fuel and lubricant levels and assist in the replenishment as required
- Assist in the cleaning and painting of machinery and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Motorman (MTM) / Oiler on board vessels
- III/5
- HUET e CAEbs
- Valid STCW certification
- Good knowledge of engine room operations and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English
