**Job Capsule**: Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. **Job Duties/Roles**: - Preparation of monthly financial statements. - Analysis of monthly financial statements. - Preparation of monthly rolling forecast of profitability. - Preparation of annual budget. - Preparation of standard monthly journal entries. - Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis on an as-requested basis. - Prepare and record overhead allocations. - Review contracts and requirements for accurate revenue recognition. - Preparation of management discussion and analysis " MD&A" for monthly results, monthly forecast, and annual budget. - Analysis of client receivables. - Review client billings to ensure accuracy. Qualifications **Knowledge**, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)**: - Knowledge of the latest spreadsheet or word processing software. - Knowledge in general ledger system and subsystems. - Good communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with others, and the ability to communicate directly with upper management. - The ability to be pro-active in preventing errors and detecting areas at risk, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. - The ability to work independently with mínimal supervision. - Needs to be familiar with the ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System. - Intermediate English - Spanish will be a differential **Minimum** years of Experience**: 2‒4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. **Required**/Preferred Education** Requirements**: Graduate in finance and/or accounting.
