Equity Research in Americas: Assisting in covering metals & mining and pulp & paper stocks, as well as other key stocks as deemed appropriate from an Equity Research point of view appropriate to geography and sector. Coverage will include underlying metals markets as well (copper, iron ore, etc). Marketing and hosting of corporate access will be required locally. Producing regular written product with investment recommendations, and servicing the Platinum and Gold institutional client base.
- Overlay analytical skills at the stock level with a full understanding of the dynamics at play within the company/sector/region.
- Maintain a consistent flow of high quality actionable/commercial research product.
- Interact with company managements and investors.
- Adhere to the Equity Analyst Scorecard Metrics.
- To work effectively with the Global Equity Research team.
- To work effectively with the EEMEA & LATAM Equity Research team on a daily basis.
- Recruit, train and retain your teams including your associates in off-shore locations.
- Develop our inclusive culture and practices in order to mitigate the effects of unconscious bias in our decision making.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive knowledge & experience / skill that enables independent company-specific, economic or trend analysis.
- May participate in decision making beyond their specific product area or typically participates in strategic decision making within their specific product area.
- Able to be active in morning meetings and some marketing on their own coverage universe.
- To have interaction with sales and to participate in external client interaction. To develop over time a strong franchise with external clients.
- To be effective & capable to attend/speak at morning meeting.
- To eventually have the ability to formulate their own investment thesis and ideas and present that in a cohesive fashion.
- Conversant in Portuguese and English
- Command of excel, word, powerpoint and commonly used 3rd party financial systems (Refinitiv, Datastream, Bloomberg etc).
