**About the role**:
This is a newly created role for a Finance Operations & FP&A Specialist, combining key finance operations with financial planning and analysis responsibilities. It supports business growth through optimising financial processes, tools, accurate reporting, and insightful analysis.

**Responsibilities**:
**Finance Operations**
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance team
- Optimize financial systems and tools to streamline finance operations
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop financial models, reports, and visual dashboards aligned with business needs
- Calculate and report on various bonus schemes
- Prepare consolidated financial statements
- Assist in maintaining banking relationships and respective KYC requirements
- Assisting with external audit processes and regulatory compliance requirements
- Handle additional finance-related tasks as assigned.

**Financial Planning & Analysis**
- Maintain financial models and reports to support business planning
- Collaborate with other departments to prepare budgets and forecasts
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent certification)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance operations, financial analysis, or related roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Microsoft Fabric is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams

Primary work location Malta, with work from home flexibility available
