If you have a passion for technology and a drive to continuously learn and grow, we would be delighted to hear from you This position offers the opportunity to work with our reputable construction client, so we are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Database Administrator to join our Novi Sad office.

**Project, teams, requirements & duties**:
**What you will be working on?**
- Managing SQL Server databases (on-prem and in Azure, including Managed Instances)
- Configuration and upgrade of database servers
- Monitoring system’s health and critical performance related metrics,ensuring high levels of availability
- Migrating databases to cloud (target being VM, Managed Instance or Azure SQL db)
- Troubleshooting issues affecting db servers in cooperation with other teams when required

**What do we expect from you?**
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing MS SQL servers, whether on-prem, on VM in cloud, or Azure Managed Instances
- Strong engineering instinct (do the right thing), a deep understanding of computer science
- Good, direct communication with customers and stakeholders
- Human-centric attitude, deep analytical mindset
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Advanced level of English-speaking proficiency

**Nice to have**:

- Experience with managing Oracle servers
- Experience with working in Azure cloud
- AI assisted coding tools

**Our teams**

Depending on the project, our teams consist of frontend and backend developers, test automation engineers, DevOps engineers, and a delivery manager (scrum master), while the product owner is client-side. We use Scrum as a framework for project management - we hold daily standup meetings where every team member can have a say.
