Head of China Desk Latin America is a senior-level position responsible for managing a portfolio of Chinese global clients in Citi Latin America's Multinationals Group (GSG) in all their banking needs, ranging from transactional to structured, leading origination and execution, in coordination with product partners in Brazil and across the other 19 markets where Citi operates in the region. GSG is the Industry leading group responsible for the coverage of Citi's Global clients with presence in each of the 95 countries globally. Leadership of Chinese client acquisition across the region is a key objective and will be used to measure success in this role. **Responsibilities**: - Lead a client portfolio with complex financial needs with the objective of becoming the first call to each of them, and by doing this generating business growth while being mindful of Citi’s credit standards, policies and procedures - Identify client needs and recommend solutions to address these needs, such as public and private capital markets financing, working capital related optimization, streamlining of local and regional cash management operations, risk management solutions, foreign currency, etc. - Origination and coordination of the execution of infrastructure finance transactions, in partnership with product - Responsible for all credit aspects of the relationship including annual reviews, early problem recognition and remedial management **Qualifications**: - 10+ years of experience - Comprehensive knowledge of credit analytics and financial modelling - Proven expertise in Risk assessment and valuation - Fluent Mandarin and English skills, written, verbal and listening - Preferred banking experience in China and abroad **Education**: - Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Master's degree preferred - CPA-20 - **Job Family Group**: Institutional Banking - **Job Family**: Corporate Banking - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
