As a Slack Solution Engineer (SE), you'll be a trusted technical advisor to our customers, helping them transform how their teams collaborate, communicate, and get work done. You'll partner with Account Executives to uncover customer needs, design innovative solutions, and demonstrate how Slack — as part of Salesforce — drives productivity, automation, and alignment across the enterprise.
You'll combine deep technical knowledge with business acumen, storytelling, and curiosity to deliver meaningful value to customers across industries.
Responsibilities
Partner with Account Executives to lead discovery conversations and deeply understand customer business challenges.
Design and present tailored Slack solutions that address customer pain points and demonstrate measurable business value.
Deliver engaging, customized product demos that showcase Slack's capabilities, including workflow automation, integrations, and AI features.
Collaborate closely with cross-cloud teams (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, Data Cloud) to position Slack as part of the broader Salesforce Customer 360 vision.
Lead technical discussions covering topics such as security, compliance, integrations, and APIs.
Support RFP responses and solution documentation.
Stay current with product releases, new features, and Salesforce ecosystem innovations.
Mentor peers and contribute to internal enablement by sharing best practices.
Achieve quarterly and annual objectives defined by leadership.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in solution engineering, presales, consulting, or customer success within SaaS or enterprise software.
Strong understanding of Slack's platform capabilities, including channels, workflows, automation, and integrations.
Experience presenting to C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and enterprise integration patterns.
Previous experience with collaboration or productivity platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Asana).
Salesforce or Slack knowledge higher desirable.
Fluency in Portuguese and English.
