Junior Piping Designer

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Junior Piping Designer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About the role:

• Support the development of conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industrial piping systems;
• Prepare technical project documentation, including piping layouts, isometrics, material lists, and engineering diagrams;
• Ensure that all documentation complies with company standards, procedures, and applicable codes;
• Assist engineers with flexibility analysis (using Caesar II) and calculations involving pumps, compressors, and utility systems.

About you:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the development of conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industrial piping systems;
• Experience with projects in mining, oil & gas, chemical, or petrochemical plants;
• Proficiency in preparing technical project documentation, including piping layout drawings, isometrics, MTOs, bill of materials, engineering flow diagrams, pipe supports, calculations, and technical reports;
• Advanced knowledge in 3D design platforms, particularly AutoCAD Plant 3D and SmartPlant;
• Solid understanding of national and international standards such as AWS D1.1, ABNT, ASME/ANSI B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME VIII Div. I, II & III, API 610, API 661, API 650, API 560, NEMA 23, among others;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision;
• Organized and dynamic professional.
