What Makes Us a Great Place To Work
We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world's best places to work. We are currently the #1 ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor's Best Places to Work list and have maintained a spot in the top four on Glassdoor's list since its founding in 2009.

Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don't happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.

Who You'll Work With
You'll be part of our Global Safety & Security team—a small, high-impact group that partners across Bain offices and functions worldwide. This team plays a critical role in supporting our people and business by delivering programs and support that enable us to operate safely, respond to global events, and foster a culture of security awareness.

WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Senior Security Specialist, you'll be responsible for helping shape and implement global safety and security efforts across Bain's offices and regions. You'll report directly to the Director of Global Safety & Security and work closely with local response teams, leadership, and external security partners.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively monitor global events to assess their potential impact on Bain's people, assets, and operations.
  • Coordinate with incident response providers to verify events and support real-time response efforts.
  • Lead or advise local response teams during security incidents and conduct post-incident reviews.
  • Investigate threats and develop practical, actionable risk mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver pre-travel briefings and monitor travel to higher-risk destinations, offering real-time support.
  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., Travel, Legal, HR) and external networks to promote safe operations.
  • Support security awareness programs and maintain data systems for readiness and compliance.
  • Create and deliver clear, accessible security updates and intelligence assessments to stakeholders.

About You
You have:

  • A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in global or regional safety/security roles.
  • Expertise in incident response, threat analysis, or corporate security program delivery.
  • Familiarity with global security regulations and tools for monitoring risk.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Portuguese (Spanish a plus).
  • A calm, focused presence in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally, sometimes on short notice.

It's a Plus If You Also Bring

  • Corporate security experience or military/law enforcement background.
  • Familiarity with OSINT platforms and emerging risk intelligence technologies.
  • Professional certifications in security or emergency management.
  • Experience working across diverse, global organizations.
