Job Description:

The Senior Analyst, Data Operations role is on the Johnson & Johnson Med Tech Digital Data Strategy & Operations team. The Data Operations team delivers trusted data to enable the launch & supply of products to our customers. Our key accountabilities include governance and maintenance of the Data Operations Framework; delivering a regulated and compliant data environment; using intelligent automation, workflow, process improvements, cross-segment expertise, and third-party suppliers to improve quality, timeliness, cost, and effort across Supply Chain; applying deep end-to-end knowledge and subject matter expertise to define, shape and implement supply chain strategies; and cultivating talent as a distinctive capability.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data Operations & Quality Management: Monitor and execute data operations and ensure data quality processes are maintained. Responsibilities include coordinating testing, handling errors, data conversion, validation, and conducting audit and compliance actions such as Non-Conformance (NC) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA).

  • Third-Party Coordination: Provide tactical direction and oversight to third-party teams involved in data-related activities, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the Data Governance Lead for specific workstreams or functional areas, engaging with partners on tactical matters. Offer guidance on data operations, conduct complex change assessments, prioritize projects, and serve as a point of escalation for internal and external teams.

  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitate ongoing enhancements to data design, processes, and templates with a focus on achieving business outcomes and operational efficiency.

  • Tools & Process Optimization: Implement and monitor tools and processes that enhance execution and operational performance.

  • Performance Metrics & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and tracking mechanisms to support departmental efficiency. May include executing budget and value capture protocols within established frameworks.

  • Operational & Governance Meetings: Lead or participate in operational and governance meetings, which may involve end-to-end reviews, value capture assessments, and third-party evaluations.

  • Documentation & Training: Collaborate to create and maintain comprehensive documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), protocols, data quality catalogs, and policies. Develop and deliver training sessions to educate partners on procedures and data flows.

  • Framework Deployment: Support the deployment and adoption of the Data Management Framework across relevant areas.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent University degree is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • At least 4 years of relevant professional business experience.

  • 4-6 years of data management experience within large ERP platforms.

  • Must be bilingual in Portuguese and English.

  • Supply chain experience, preferably in master data, operations, or a multi-functional business environment.

  • Business and technical understanding of all Supply Chain data elements, processes, and organizational support models (e.g., SAP, JDE, Winshuttle, Data Quality).

  • A diverse mix of global, regional, and cross-sector/industry experience.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influence multiple partners, and establish common goals without compromising outcomes.

  • Capable of contributing effectively within a diverse, multicultural, and remote team.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives within tight timelines, especially in a matrix environment with rapidly changing priorities.
