We are currently seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Contract Specialist at ICON, you will play a key role in the development, negotiation, and management of contracts to support our clinical research initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, mitigating risks, and fostering positive relationships with clients and vendors throughout the contracting process.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including clinical trial agreements, service agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure that contracts align with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
- Providing guidance and expertise on contract terms and conditions to internal stakeholders and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of contracts and amendments, and tracking contract performance and compliance post-execution.
- Developing and implementing best practices for contract management and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in contract management is a plus.
- Extensive experience in contract negotiation and management, ideally within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools, along with a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
