Role Description

Facilities Specialist is responsible for evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.

Main responsibilities:

  • Gathering and analyzing data, blueprints, and reports.
  • Determining facility and equipment specifications.
  • Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets.
  • Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls.
  • Developing processing plans and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
  • Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
  • Preparing reports and compliance documentation.
  • Carry out all the tasks related to monitoring of all energy consumption in the plant to find irregularities in energy usage, and to determine opportunities for improvement. Suggest modification and modernization of monitoring equipment as required to provide additional energy data in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop energy models for predicting energy usage and manage the energy budget.
  • Develop energy management in Plant
  • Coordinate work of boiler room and compressor station operators, and specialist working on maintenance of energy fluid systems and plant services, while ensuring adequate coverage, and evaluate their skill level so as to be able to plan additional and necessary training. Manage people, organize work, monitor and delegate duties and take adequate operating and organizational actions in that direction
  • Lead energy plant team according to ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management Standard and continuous improvement of Company's energy performance;
  • Compliance with operational and other work instructions relating to the management or maintenance of the equipment, machines and all processes, with the aim of efficient use of energy and resources
  • takes care of pressure vessels, pipelines and safety valves in compliance with Serbian law

For timely and quality execution of all work assignments report to the Plant Facility and Energy Manager.

Requirements:

VI/VII degree of education (Mechanical or Technical Engineering background)

Excellent computer skills and use of MS Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook)

English language skills

Team spirit

Adaptability, patience, ability to meet tight deadlines
