ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our Controllership team, you will:

  • Actively participate in the accounting closing process, mainly analyzing costs & expenses, revenue, fixed assets, and other balance sheet areas;
  • Explain and provide insights on variations in results and changes that occurred during the period;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose corrective actions to ensure efficiency and accuracy;
  • Ensure SOX compliance in accordance with established internal flows and controls;
  • Support internal and external audit processes, preparing documentation and clarifications as needed;
  • Collaborate and communicate with different internal areas to optimize processes and ensure alignment with global standards.
 
WHO YOU ARE
  • You are based in Rio de Janeiro - and willing to go to the office 1-2x a week;
  • You graduated or are a student in accounting, business administration, economics, production engineering, or related areas;
  • You must be experienced at least 1-3 years in finance (including internship time);
  • You must have initiative and proactivity, organization, good problem-solving ability,  a teamwork spirit, and an interest in learning new tools;
  • You might have international accounting standards knowledge;
  • You might have international experience - is a differential;
  • You must have Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets;
  • You must be able to communicate in Intermediate English (Spanish would be a differential);
  • Having familiarity or interest in automation tools such as PowerBi or SQL is a plus.
