Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Database Administrator based in São Paulo, SP, with the flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining database systems to ensure optimal performance and availability. Daily tasks will include database monitoring, troubleshooting, data replication, and optimizing the database infrastructure. This role also involves database design and ensuring data integrity and security in line with organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Database Administration and Databases, including experience in managing database systems
  • Strong skills in Database Design and the ability to structure efficient and scalable database solutions
  • Experience in Troubleshooting and resolving database-related technical issues
  • Knowledge of Replication processes and ensuring data consistency
  • Solid understanding of data security principles and best practices
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience with database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL is a plus
