Company Description

Senses Montessori School is a bilingual school and daycare that adheres to the authentic principles of the Montessori method. We aim to educate for freedom by nurturing each child's natural learning abilities and potential.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Bilingual Assistant role based in São Paulo, SP,. The Bilingual Assistant will support the Montessori guides in creating a nurturing learning environment, prepare and maintain Montessori materials, and assist students in daily activities. Other responsibilities include fostering bilingual communication in English, ensuring the classroom atmosphere aligns with Montessori values, and assisting with any operational needs within the school setting.

Age group 0-3 year olds.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in both Portuguese and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience in childcare, education, or a related field, with an understanding of child development.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and staff to support the Montessori method and philosophy.
  • Organizational and multitasking skills for preparing and managing classroom materials and activities.
  • Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with children and families.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of the Montessori method is a plus but not mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in early education or bilingual education are advantageous.
