Investor Support Specialist

The Investor Support Specialist is a client-facing role primarily focused on scheduling successful appointments with prospective and existing investors by engaging in timely communication and follow-up in order to ensure an excellent onboarding process, successful investment fundings, and an ongoing, helpful, and prosperous relationship between clients and their Investor Success Managers. The ISS converts new investor leads to appointments for Investor Success Managers in their assigned pod by handling all incoming prospect calls and incoming leads that parse into the CRM in rotation, make continuous contact attempts, and follow up with the investors/potential investors in order to be successful in converting to an appointment. After an appointment is set, the ISS holds the Investor Success Manager accountable regarding the appointments set and views lead records for timely, complete notes and follow-up tasks until a commitment to invest is made. The ISS also sets alignment appointments for their pod's existing investor base.
What you have already achieved: (Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Computer proficiency, particularly with CRM software
- Excellent phone communication skills required
- Highly knowledgeable about private funds and/or real estate, or displays ability to learn quickly
- Inside sales experience (3 years preferred)
What you are great at: (Responsibilities)
- Assisting ISS/ISM teams in scripting, role playing, and managing the overall pipeline.
- Attending and participating in all DLP meetings, trainings, and (as applicable) events.
- Collaborating and coordinating with internal team members to solve all Investor questions, concerns, and issues in a timely manner.
- Maintaining and updating CRM's (Hubspot/AppFolio) on a consistent basis.
- Consistently communicating with ISM, experience Team, and other DLP lines of business, as applicable.
- Assisting existing Investors with all incoming service requests pertaining to accounts and investments, collaborating with Investments and experience Team when necessary.
- Following up on all ISM appointments and providing assistance as needed to ISM in order to ensure a successful onboarding process/funding completion for all new Investors.
- Creating urgency, providing clarity, and effectively engaging with future Investors regarding investment opportunities with DLP.
- Ensuring the involvement of future/existing Investors and Prosperity Members in all-things related to DLP - company events, capital dinners, live webinars, etc.
- Scheduling appointments between future/existing Investors and Investor Success Managers using DLP's tools and systems (Hubspot, Appfolio, Vonage, Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.)
- Answering all incoming calls, ensuring timely communication and successful outcomes with future/existing Investors.
