Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities
Resource will support the migration from Prisma Clout Bolt to WIZ. These engineers will lead the implementation and act as a liaison between the WIZ team and cloud team. Support activities may include the following:

Support Network Configuration: Configure network access and permissions for WIZ deployment, ensuring that it has the necessary connectivity to monitor and analyze cloud traffic. Define firewall rules, security groups, and IAM permissions to securely access cloud resources and APIs as defined by company.
Data Collection and Logging: Configure logging and data collection mechanisms within the cloud environment to feed relevant information to WIZ for analysis. Enable logging for key services, such as VPC flow logs, CloudTrail, Azure Monitor, and Google Cloud Audit Logs, to capture relevant security events and telemetry data.
Support Policy and Compliance Configuration: Define security policies, compliance standards, and risk thresholds within WIZ to align with security requirements. Configure custom rules, alerts, and notifications to enforce security policies and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks as defined by company.
Training and Onboarding: Provide training and onboarding sessions for personnel who will be using WIZ, including security analysts, administrators, and incident responders.
Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of WIZ deployment in a staging or sandbox environment before rolling it out to production.
Collaborate with cross -functional teams to integrate WIZ with existing security tools and workflows, ensuring seamless operation and efficient incident response.
Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies related to cloud environments, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Participate in security incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents detected by WIZ or other security monitoring tools.
Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on security best practices for cloud architecture, configuration, and deployment. Technical Requirements:
Deep cloud security knowledge and engineering of AWS, Azure or Ali Cloud environments.
Experienced with Kubernetes, EKS and AKS
Hands -on experience with WIZ and vulnerability management strongly preferred.
Experienced in Prisma Cloud Bolt
Experience modernizing traditional VMs.
Proven track record of working multiple back -office tech integrations.
Experience working with containers, APIs and event correlations.
Experience working with ITSM like Jira or Service Now.
In -depth knowledge of cloud security principles, including IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Strong understanding of security technologies and tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint protection.
Excellent analytical and problem -solving skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast -paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross -functional teams and stakeholders.
Proven track record of driving security initiatives to completion and delivering measurable results in improving cloud security posture.
