Job Overview:

The Learning Solutions Specialist plays a key role in designing, developing, and managing learning

content. This position combines LMS administration with instructional design and content development.

The role ensures that learning materials are engaging, effective, and accessible while maintaining

compliance with regulatory standards

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging digital learning content using tools such as Articulate, Vyond, or Powtoon.
  • Manage the full content lifecycle in the LMS, including uploads, testing, deployment, and retirement of content.
  • Administer and support the Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, business partners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality learning solutions.
  • Support evaluations and reporting to measure training effectiveness.
  • Ensure learning programs align with corporate goals and standards

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Education, Life Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with instructional design and eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Vyond, Powtoon).
  • Strong knowledge of LMS platforms and experience managing content lifecycle activities.
  • Ability to analyze learning needs and recommend effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Experience (Minimum Required):  

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or LMS administration within a corporate or regulated environment.
  • At least 1 year in roles involving stakeholder collaboration, project coordination, or adult education delivery.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially within life sciences, healthcare, or compliance-driven industries. Familiarity with global training rollouts and localization practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Prior experience supporting global learning programs or enterprise LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, Saba, SuccessFactors).
  • Experience with regulatory training and audit documentation workflows.
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond, Powtoon, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with SCORM and LMS content lifecycle management.
  • Experience with compliance documentation, audit trail reviews, and training effectiveness reporting.
  • Certifications in instructional design, project management (e.g., PMP), or LMS administration are advantageous.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with SMEs, business partners, and global teams.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail in content development and testing.
  • Leadership mindset with the ability to drive process improvements and contribute to strategic learning initiatives.
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, matrixed environments.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • This role is office-based or remote-based, requiring frequent use of a computer and other digital tools for instructional design, LMS administration, and content development.
  • Travel Requirements: May include up to 10% global travel for cross-site support, stakeholder meetings, or training delivery.
