Main Responsibilities
Act as in-house counsel of BNPP Brazil, assisting the business lines of the Bank in charge of administration of investment funds and capital markets.

  • Primary activities - assistance in matters involving investment funds: contracts, regulatory issues, interaction with regulators, stock exchange, etc. Activities encompass review of incorporation documents of an investment fund, by-laws, contracting of investment managers and distributors, etc.;
  • Activities also encompass other areas of financial and capital markets, such as offerings of debt instruments in the capital market; cross-border transactions and derivative transactions.

Position Requirements

  • Enrolled with Brazilian bar (OAB);
  • Law Graduated;
  • Fluent English;
  • Experience with matters involving investment funds. Though not a requirement, experience with other products of the financial and capital markets is desired;
  • It is expected that the candidate be interested in learning and carrying out activities involving legislation and regulations pertaining the Brazilian capital and banking market (including regulatory provisions).
