Job Description

Boeing Brazil is seeking Mid-Career Hydraulic Systems Engineer, reporting to the Hydraulic Systems Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office. The Mid-Career Hydraulic Systems Engineer will join the Hydraulic Systems team supporting development and sustaining programs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop system requirements and define system architecture.
• Develop or review hardware and software designs and associated interface specifications.
• Ownership of component level design requirements.
• Analyze system performance through modeling and simulation.
• Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
• Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
• Develop, verify, validate, and certify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.
• Research and development of technologies for potential future applications.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
• Must have a degree in Engineering.
• Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
• Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
• Experience with installations design and release for mechanical systems.
• Experience with 3D modeling software and product data management software (CATIA, PDM or similar)

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• Experience in Mechanical-Hydraulic Systems.
• Experience working with integrated cross-functional teams Project management skills.
• Experience working in engineering product development.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.
