WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead a distributed team of SREs across Europe, LATAM, and India, fostering technical alignment and cross-regional collaboration;
Provide technical escalation support for VPN, SFTP, and network-related issues, especially in EHR customer integrations;
Own the technical implementation of VPN tunnel setups, IPsec configuration, and AWS networking (VPCs, routing, subnets);
Support secure file transfers through SFTP (AWS Transfer Family), ensuring high availability and compliance;
Troubleshoot network-level connectivity problems and guide resolution workflows;
Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), IaC (Terraform), and container-based infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes);
Support incident response and on-call operations with appropriate escalation paths and handoffs;
Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks;
Act as a liaison between AgileEngine engineers and iRhythm's internal stakeholders for roadmap planning and delivery alignment;
Contribute to team hiring, onboarding, and skill development strategies.
MUST HAVES
7 years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles;
Prior experience leading or mentoring globally distributed technical teams;
Strong expertise in AWS networking, including VPNs, IPsec, VPC peering, subnets, and routing;
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, both internal and external;
Experience with customer-facing technical support, particularly in EHR or other B2B integrations;
Familiarity with Terraform, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders;
Understanding of regulated environments with a focus on data security and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR);
Upper-Intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
Exposure to EHR systems such as Mirth and IRIS;
Background in healthcare, medtech, or regulated infrastructure environments;
Familiarity with legacy DevOps tools like Bitbucket or Codefresh;
Scripting experience in Bash or Python.
