We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead our network and VoIP infrastructure teams.

Job Description:
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures for high availability and security.

This role involves collaborating with the Security team to ensure network security best practices are followed and working closely with our ISP partners on network service issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement robust network architectures to meet business needs
  2. Maintain high levels of network uptime and performance through proactive monitoring and issue resolution
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and standardization across the organization
  4. Coordinate with external vendors and partners to resolve complex technical issues
  5. Leverage industry-leading technologies to optimize network performance and reliability
  6. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and procedures
Requirements:
  • At least 5-7 years of experience as a senior network engineer or administrator
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network security
  • Experience with enterprise-grade networking equipment from major vendors
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Perl
  • Familiarity with network management tools like Zabbix, Nagios, or SolarWinds
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies, including VMware or Hyper-V
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Linux operating system experience, including knowledge of shell scripting and Linux fundamentals
  • Experience with BGP Anycast implementation and IPv6 migration strategies
  • Familiarity with network automation frameworks like Ansible or SaltStack
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
