Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with product and engineering teams.
- Experience developing large-scale systems, with large data processing or complex UX flows with a lot of users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. Responsibilities- Establish and follow software development best practices and an engineering culture.
- Participate in the definition, design and development of the next generation of Alphabet's risk and compliance products.
- Work with both back-end and front-end, learning the main technologies in Google's software development stack.
- Work closely with our UX team to ensure our products reflect Product Excellence and are accessible.
- Make our team a welcoming team which has respect built in it.
