Our Flow Control Business Line is looking for a professional with experience for Sales, focused in Engineering's, EPC's and Licensors.
For this position you will be responsible for:
- Promote sales of company portfolio products by engaging customers, conducting technical and commercial discussions, marketing products and equipment, and negotiating proposals to generate business and meet customer needs.
- Analyze and select technical alternatives using existing expertise or consultations to propose solutions aligning with customer requirements.
- Present selected technical solutions to customers, delivering proposals to enable informed decision-making and formalization.
- Coordinate product specifications for sales budgeting, analyzing production capacity data to determine equipment models and proportions.
- Support the creation of technical/commercial proposals by compiling and organizing data per area standards.
- Facilitate negotiations and technical discussions with customers to align solutions with available resources.
- Document sales processes and visit outcomes through reports and meeting minutes.
- Identify and list all Engineering firms, EPCs, and Licensors within the area of responsibility, creating a recurring visit plan to influence, develop, and strengthen relationships.
- Execute recurring visits to the selected customer chain to build engagement.
- Assist Account Managers, Industry Managers, and Sales Managers in market research and sales planning, including budget report preparation.
- Contribute to customer development (marketing) by contacting customers via visits, meetings, calls, or conferences to enhance company image and commercial relationships.
- Participate in technical customer visits, guiding them to Valmet-equipped facilities to showcase technology and foster customer growth.
In addition, to succeed in this position, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Production or related areas.
- Solid experience in Process Engineering and experience in the global industrial environment.
- Business way of thinking and understanding customer drivers in the metals and mining industries.
- Ability to build long-term strategies and proven experience in implementing strategies.
- Advanced English (desirable).
- Advanced Spanish (mandatory).
- Fluent Portuguese (mandatory).
- Availability for travels (national and international).
- Ability to communicate in multicultural interactions externally with customers and internally within the Valmet organization.
- Open mind and creative way of solving problems.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. The ability to lead a project team is also needed.
