Job Description:

Prepares and negotiates subcontract specifications, work statement, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized material, equipment, and services. Prepares and analyzes complex bid packages and uses decision-making tools/models, including financial and non financial criteria, to facilitate award recommendations. Conducts comprehensive supplier analysis (strategic direction, financial due diligence, market position, power within industry,. Analyzes and assimilates data to make recommendations in support of the company business goals for critical sourcing and procurement decisions. Ensures data accuracy. Executes supplier contracts and agreements where appropriate. Administers purchase orders/scheduling agreement within systems. Administers bidding and supplier selection process. Leads contract negotiations and contract finalization as authorized by manager. Interacts with suppliers to ensure supplier's performance meets or exceeds company standards for quality, timeliness, cost, inventory reduction, and lean manufacturing. Participates in supplier's. Recommends changes and enhancements to systems and processes and actively collaborate with others to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities are:

Strategic Sourcing

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about industry trends.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to secure high-quality goods and services at the best possible cost.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance to company guidelines and procurement policy during negotiation and award process.
• Plan, negotiate, execute and monitor Contracts.

Supplier Management

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to achieve favorable agreements while minimizing risk.

Cost Management

• Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiations, process improvements, and value engineering.
• Analyze total cost of ownership and implement strategies to optimize cost efficiency throughout the supply chain.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with various departments, including operations, finance, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for new product launches, providing expertise on procurement-related matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of successful negotiations and cost savings. Experience desirable in IT Category-Software & Application & Development Services at the Latam level. Process management in NA is a plus.
• Experience in Contracts execution.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Advanced English and Spanish communication/presentation skills (written & spoken)
• Desirable Fluent Portuguese communication/presentation skills (written & spoken)
