Company:Guy CarpenterDescription:SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the technical design and delivery of scalable data products. This role blends data engineering, ML model development, and product innovation to create reliable, high-impact production services. You will join a small, high-leverage team and work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to translate analytics into measurable business value. The role focuses on innovation with unstructured data, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and other NLP techniques.Responsibilities
  • Architect and build scalable ELT/ETL and data pipelines to fuel analytics and ML systems.
  • Develop, validate, and deploy ML models with reproducible training, CI/CD, versioning, automated retraining, and drift monitoring.
  • Implement MLOps best practices, including model packaging, deployment orchestration, serving, and production monitoring.
  • Design and maintain data models, feature stores, and schema governance to ensure data quality and discoverability.
  • Deliver data products (APIs, dashboards, notebooks, web apps) that convert models and analytics into actionable business outcomes.
  • Own the performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data and ML systems in cloud environments.
  • Establish and uphold operational standards for observability, including logging, alerting, lineage, SLOs, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and success metrics.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers, data scientists, and analysts.
