We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients in the Oil & Gas industry, an
"PLANNING LEAD (M/F)"
for a long-term contract based in
Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
This mission is on a residential basis, with no option for rotation.
"PLANNING LEAD (M/F)" What will your missions and responsibilities be?
Key Responsibilities*
- Develop and maintain operational plans across all departments, aligned with strategy and budgets
- Identify critical paths, interdependencies, and optimization opportunities
- Collect inputs from technical leads and lead planning meetings to resolve conflicts (wells, subsea, integrity, maintenance, marine, construction, asset, projects, etc…)
- Ensure accountability and adherence to long-term plans
- Define and track key KPIs, report to management, and implement corrective actions
- Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and conduct what-if analyses
- Highlight opportunities for optimization through smart scheduling
What profile and skills are required for this "PLANNING LEAD (M/F)" role?
*Key Requirements – Qualification & Experience*
- Degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering; MBA is a plus
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Proficient in SAP and planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI)
- Knowledge of Finance / Cost Controlling
- Relevant experience in planning, operations, or project control in Oil & Gas
- Experience with multi-disciplinary teams and integrated operations
- Strong understanding of Oil & Gas asset lifecycles
- Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
