As part of this growth we now seek a Customer Obsessed, Results Driven Senior Program Manager to lead our FinOps Program Management Office (PMO) in the LATAM region.

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will bring a demonstrated ability to deliver large scale, highly complex business program implementations in fast-paced, deadline driven and cross-regional environments, ideally involving systems development and integration. Additionally, they will have a proven ability to learn quickly, distil complex scenarios into easily understandable synopses and communicate persuasively, in both written and verbal form. Finally, we require someone who understands the opportunities AI brings within a PMO environment along with a structured, analytical and problem solving mind-set, capable of managing deep levels of complexity, while inspiring their team to deliver effective, scalable and automated solutions that drive business growth.
Key job responsibilities
- Leading a team of Program Managers to deliver highly complex, large scale, strategic programs and projects from initiation through to delivery, on time and with quality.
- Ensuring consistent and efficient execution of programs and projects, which adhere to FinOps governance and project methodology frameworks, delivering high-quality, scalable solutions within challenging timelines.
- Proactively identifying and mitigating program risks and obstacles by collaborating closely with business partners, and key tech and non-tech stakeholders. This includes effectively communicating with, and influencing, senior stakeholders across multiple parts of the organization.
- Hiring, developing and managing a diverse team of bar-raising Program Managers to create a pipeline of future Amazon program leaders while building an inspiring, high-performance environment that attracts internal and external talent.
- Continually strengthening FinOps effectiveness with a relentless focus on identifying and delivering innovative, 'think-big' improvement and AI-driven automation opportunities which step change PMO and FinOps capabilities.
- Bachelors degree;
- Program or project management experience;
- Team management experience;
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams;
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements;
- Advanced English.
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership;
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery;
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance ;
- Quantitative field project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2).
